Sherwood Waldron Collection (1896-1906)

Collection includes tobacco objects, photographs and documents; the collection is separated into 3 series–objects, photographs, artifacts.

Objects: 76 tobacco boxes, 2 hatchets, 2 molds, 2 laths, pouch, needle, spear, plug, cutter, shed door and 3 metal signs.

Photographs: Farmer’s Public Warehouse, Pranckus store, Oliver Clark house, Tobacco Exhibit at Wood Library.

Personal papers and articles: Sherwood Waldron and tobacco growing. Union dues books from Otto V. Most. Booklets on tobacco growing. Book entitled “The Connoisseur’s Book of the Cigar.”
