The black and white photograph below shows the District #3 Schoolhouse (also known as the Brad Factory School) in winter. This building stood in front of where the Union District School now stands. The John Newberry King House is to the right and is where Wood Memorial Library and Museum now stands. |
This final image shows the old Brad Factory school house with new Union School being built behind it. Union District School was built in 1908-1909 to replace three of the five one-room school houses in South Windsor.
