Berkshires Bus Trip

Join us for a beautiful and botanical day trip to Lenox and Stockbridge, Massachusetts!
After leaving Wood Memorial Library you will arrive at The Mount, a turn-of-the-century home designed and built by author Edith Wharton in 1902.  Set on 49 acres, The Mount is a historic house museum, cultural center and pubic park and one of only five percent of National Historic Landmarks dedicated to women.  In addition to the breathtaking house, Wharton designed the gardens to be “an elegant series of outdoor rooms.”  During our visit, the annual Sculpture at The Mount will be on display, a juried exhibition of contemporary pieces across the entire property.
A mere few minutes away is the Berkshire Botanical Garden, one of the oldest public display gardens in the northeast, with dozens of “living museum” gardens set on 24 acres.  The indoor summer exhibit on display during our visit is “DayDream”, featuring amazing names in contemporary and modern art, including Salvador Dalí, Annie Leibovitz and Yoko Ono.
